Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MacroMate, operated by Theocharris Savvidis, Greece ("MacroMate", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using MacroMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Beta Notice
MacroMate is currently in a beta testing phase. Features may change, and the platform may experience interruptions. By using MacroMate during this period, you acknowledge that the service is provided as-is and that you are participating in an early-access programme.
2. Description of Service
MacroMate is a coaching management platform for fitness coaches, personal trainers, dietitians and hybrid coaches. It enables coaches to create and assign workout and nutrition plans, collect weekly check-ins, track client progress and communicate with clients through a dedicated mobile and web application.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use MacroMate. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@macromatepro.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. MacroMate cannot be held liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
5. Free Trial
New coach accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. If no subscription is started, the account will be locked but no data will be deleted.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
MacroMate offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed in advance. Annual plans are billed once per year at a discounted rate equivalent to 10 months. All prices are exclusive of VAT; the applicable VAT rate will be applied at checkout based on your location. Upgrading a subscription takes effect immediately and is charged on a prorated basis. Downgrading takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
7. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you retain full access until then. No refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MacroMate for any unlawful purpose; to upload malicious, offensive or harmful content; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; to reverse engineer, copy or redistribute any part of the service; or to use the platform in any way that could damage, overload or impair its operation. MacroMate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
9. Coach Responsibilities
Coaches are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the plans, advice and content they provide to their clients through MacroMate. MacroMate does not review or verify coaching content. Coaches are also responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, when processing client personal data on the platform. This includes obtaining any required consents from clients before inviting them to MacroMate.
10. Client Data and Account Deletion
When a coach deletes their account, their personal data and all associated conversations are permanently removed. Clients of that coach are unlinked but their own accounts and data remain intact. When a client deletes their account, their personal data is removed and they are unlinked from their coach. The coach's account and other data remain unaffected.
11. Intellectual Property
MacroMate and its interface, design, features and underlying code are the intellectual property of MacroMate. You retain ownership of any content you create and upload to the platform. By uploading content, you grant MacroMate a limited licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
12. Limitation of Liability
MacroMate is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MacroMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption or health-related outcomes resulting from coaching content.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the app. Continued use of MacroMate after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of MacroMate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece.
